ASKED

QUESTIONS

There are many questions to ask when you're looking for legal representation. Let us help you get started.

"How do I know if I need an Attorney?"

Sometimes it's best to have an attorney look over an agreement before you file with the court. An experienced Attorney can help to make sure that all the necessary topics have been addressed, and that items aren't overlooked that could become an issue in the future.

"What is included in the the Initial Consultation?"

The initial consultation is an opportunity to ask an experienced attorney for legal advice to your problem. During the initial consultation, you and Miss Hall will have the opportunity to develop a raport and determine if her services are needed. The Initial Consultation is a one hour appointment. To make the best use of this time, we recommend you bring a list of any questions you may have.

"I just got served Divorce Papers. What do I do?"

If you just got served divorce papers, the first thing you should do is read through them carefully. Generally, you have 30 days to respond, but you'll need to check the paperwork and note this deadline. Do not bury your head in the sand - be proactive!

"I live in Josephine County. Can Miss Hall represent me?"

Yes. Risa is licensed in both Jackson and Josephine County.

"How much is a retainer?"

The cost of a retainer is based on the complexity of your case. After your Initial Consultation with Miss Hall, she will be able to assess many of the details of your case. If she comes to the determination that your case is in need of her expertise, our office will contact you with the details to move forward as our client, and the retainer fee.
